Description
Chevy Colorado GMC Canyon Shock Skids. Our rock repellent max protection shock skids are the same as the original no drill shock skids, with a taller front for more shock protection, if you live in a muddy area consider the original Shock Skids, they fit like a glove.
Since one mounts forward and the other opposite, the shock is exposed more, so all we did was make it taller
No drilling required. Mounts to the the factory shock mount using the new, longer 10.9 14mm shock bolt (included) and to the top of the shock tower with our 1/4" easy mount nut plate and 3/8" bolts (included)

CHEVY COLORADO ZR2/Z71 SHOCK SKIDS MAX PROTECTION
My order was quickly shipped and received. Upon opening the package I was pleased on the quality of the materials, workmanship, and finish. Upon installing, I noticed the new bolts had the wrong thread pitch. I called Datin and Ed said their bolt distributor had sent them the wrong bolts for the kit. He was very apologetic and said he would send me the new bolts. I was again please to receive the new bolts within two days. Datin has great customer service and quickly corrected a understandable mistake. I recommend these shock skids, they are a great added protection for your vehicle.

Fit like a glove
Overall good fitment. One side had super tight margins and required some minor threading of the bolt by force. All and all thank you!

Awesome product
These are an all around awesome addition to my Colorado. They were extremely easy to install, look great, and of course protect my rear shocks. I highly recommend them!

Great...Except for the SAE Bolt
Awesome protection, easy install. BUT...why on god's green earth would you include SAE bolts (the 9/16" x 1" that hold the skid to the mounting plate) on a part for a metric truck? Not the end of the world, but the bolts look cheap and it's just dumb to have drag out metric and SAE tools to install a 2-bolt part.

WORTH IT
definitely worth the money. Install was quite easy once you install the small bolt with the metal plate first to hold it in place.
