Softopper will not retract all the way forward with the rack installed, the sides and rear will roll up with the rack on for access, Softopper sold separately

I was initially torn between a hard shell cover and a soft topper with a rack. After careful consideration, I decided on the soft topper paired with the Datin Metal Fab cage. canvas cage ram 2500
i have had this for a few months now, i wanted to wait to leave a review until i had used the rack. this thing is awesome! i have seen some racks that dont cover the bed rails, this leaves the softtopper rails with gaps, this rack has no such problem. i have had this in the rain, wind and dust and no issues with the outside getting in. i love this rack for its ease of install and removal. if i want my bed back i can take everything out my self.awesome product, built tough and does what i need!

Ram Canvas Cage Bed Rack
Bought my rack a few months ago for my Ram 3500. Just got time to install. Firstly, it sets slightly higher then the cab which I think is a plus and on average it is 1" above the softtopper. Instructions could have been a little clearer however if you have basic skills easy to figuire out. DON'T tighten bolts till everything installed then tighten. I plan on using mine for camping gear storage. I think by adding molle panels on the side it makes it rock solid. So far so good. I like the looks of it. Just don't get discouraged like I did when I saw all the bolts to install, almost like an Erector Set. Be breaking it in real soon and so far it looks like a winner. I did see another company that sells a similar item. The purchasing process and cost turned me off. Hear, I could get the basic package easily and add a few things. Cost wise. I would have to say good price. Thanks to the Engineers at Datin because NO mods needed. Thank you, Rodney W
